SUPER SUPPER: CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS | |
1 canned whole chicken 1 lg. can chicken broth Remove bones and skin from chicken. Add broth and bring to boil. DUMPLINGS: 2 c. Bisquick 2/3 c. milk 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning Salt and pepper Mix dumpling ingredients until soft dough forms. Drop by spoonfuls onto boiling chicken and broth. Cook uncovered over low heat 10 minutes. Cover and simmer another 10 minutes. Serve with salad. Quick and easy for a tired crew. P.S. Try Bisquick dumplings (with your special herbs) over Dinty Moore Stew. |
