5-FLAVOR POUND CAKE | |
1/2 lb. butter 1/2 cup Crisco 3 cups cake flour 3 cups sugar 1/2 tsp. baking powder 5 eggs 1 cup milk 1 tsp. lemon extract 1 tsp. rum extract 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1 tsp. coconut extract 1 tsp. almond extract Cream butter and shortening together. Sift together flour, sugar and baking powder. Set aside. Add eggs and milk to butter and shortening and mix well. Add flour mixture to shortening mixture. Mix well. Add flavorings last. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan in a preheated 375°F oven for about 1 hour and 15 minutes. |
