2 c. plain flour
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
7 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
1 box powdered sugar
1 c. pecans
1 c. coconut

Mix the flour and sugar together. Bring the butter and water to a boil and pour over the flour and sugar. Mix the buttermilk, eggs, soda and salt and add to the above mixture. Bake on a greased cookie sheet for 25 minutes at 400 degrees.

FROSTING: Bring the milk, vanilla, butter, powdered sugar, pecans and coconut to a boil. Let the mixture thicken a bit. While the cake is still hot, spread the mixture on.
