DENNIS' BEEF WITH BEER | |
I use 2 cans of beer and drink 1/2 a can while cooking! 1 lb. beef (any part) 1 (12 oz.) can beer (your choice) 4 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tbsp. tomato paste salt and pepper, to taste 1 cup water (more or less) 2 onions 2 cloves of garlic 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour 4 tbsp. oil Shred beef into 2-inch flat pieces. Put it in a saucepan with beer and boil for 30 minutes, taking away the foam that is revealed on top. Remove from heat, add in soy sauce, tomato paste, salt and pepper and water, depending how much sauce you want the meat to have. Cut onions into long pieces and garlic into small pieces. Heat oil in a frying pan and sauté onion and garlic until softened. Mix in flour and continue to sauté for one minute. Put in the mixture with the beef and boil until the sauce is thick. Best served with plain boiled rice. Submitted by: Dennis |
