STRAWBERRY PRESERVES 
1 qt. strawberries
4 c. sugar

Wash and cap strawberries. Boil for 3 minutes. Add 2 cups sugar and boil 3 minutes. Add 2 more cup sugar and boil for another 3 minutes. Pour into long Pyrex dish. Cover with Saran and leave overnight. Pack into sterilized jars. Put melted wax on top of preserves in jars.
