ITALIAN BEEF ROLL 
2 lbs. ground beef
2 eggs
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1 tsp. oregano
1 c. or 4 oz. grated Cheddar or Mozzarella cheese
1/3 c. milk
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
3 slices American cheese

Mix beef, eggs, bread crumbs, milk, onion, oregano, salt, and garlic powder. Pat meat into 12 x 10 inch rectangles on foil, waxed paper, or cheesecloth. Sprinkle grated cheese on meat. Roll into jelly roll - lifting cloth with roll - seal ends and edges by pressing meat together. Place roll seam side down in shallow baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees, 1 hour. Top with cheese slices - continue baking until cheese starts to melt. 8 servings.
