STRAWBERRY DESSERT 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. soft butter
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip
1 lg. pkg. frozen strawberries
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. powdered sugar

Combine flour, brown sugar, 1 cup butter and nuts; pack lightly in 9 x 12 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool.

Cream cream cheese with powdered sugar and fold in Cool Whip. Pour mixture into cooled shell. Combine strawberries and cornstarch in saucepan and simmer, stirring constantly until glassy. Pour over dessert. Refrigerate before serving.
