DETROIT TIGER SALAD 
1 head lettuce, shredded
1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
1 can water chestnuts, sliced
1/2 c. minced onion
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, rinse and strain with cold water, dry
Mayonnaise
1 tbsp. sugar
Parmesan cheese

In large bowl, mix lettuce, green pepper, water chestnuts, onion and peas. Cover entire top of mixture with layer of mayonnaise, making sure to cover to the rim of the bowl. Sprinkle with sugar and Parmesan cheese. Refrigerate 12 hours before serving.
