I made this tonight. Was so glad I didn't have to pull 20 different ingredients out and make the standard banana bread recipe. This was a fast alternative and I was excited to bake it in my New Bundt pan.

I had to make a banana cake for a smash cake for my best friends baby's first bday and I had bananas and just happened to have yellow cake mix which I never have because I always bake from scratch but I thought what the heck it's for a smash cake. I added about 2 cups of bananas they were very ripe and two sprinkles maybe 1/4 tsp. of cinnamon (I would have added more but it's for a baby). I always add it to banana cake or bread and made my cream cheese frosting and iced it. This recipe made 2 about 6-inch cake layers and 12 cupcakes. Turned out delicious so I was told. Thank you I'll be using it again when I have box cake mix and over ripe bananas since I have a pain disorder and being on my feet low makes my knees and ankles swell up triple its size this is convenient for me. I have some more ripe bananas and a box of vanilla cake mix might try it with that and add more cinnamon and fresh grated nutmeg I always add it when I make banana bread/cake it brings out the banana flavor in my opinion. Thanks again!!

I used a chocolate fudge cake mix and also added a few sprinkles of cinnamon. Omg it tastes so good. Will definitely be making this again

Love this recipe. Followed directions exactly and added walnuts - delicious with just a chocolate drizzle on top. I do question the reviewer who said she liked making this without the eggs? Our cake box said to add eggs, and this recipe says to follow the directions on the box, so we did add eggs and oil as directed on the cake box. Turned out perfectly though.

I made the recipe using Pillsbury Simply White Cake mix with no nuts and added 1/2 tsp. of cinnamon. My 2-year old granddaughter added sprinkles before baking the cupcakes. No frosting. The kids loved them. I will take them to a Ladies Brunch. I will definitely make them again. Couldn't get much easier.

This recipe made baking banana cake so easy and yet so moist and delicious! I used white cake mix since it was the only one I have. Then, I added about 1/2 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips to the batter, frosted it with cream cheese frosting and topped it with fresh raspberries. It was a hit!

This recipe was the easiest I have made yet. It work with applesauce and spice. any fruit sauce and a complimentary cake mix. Thanks!

It also works when halving the recipe as well. Of course adjust the recipe.
