HARVARD BEETS 
1 qt. beets
1/4 c. beef liquid
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. butter

Drain beets. Reserving liquid. Stir together sugar and cornstarch. Add liquid and vinegar. Heat until boiling. Add butter and beets. Serve warm.
