SANDWICH LOAF 
Call bakery and order loaf of bread to be cut lengthwise. Trim crust. Spread slices with soft butter. Use sandwich spread of your choice or several ones and spread slices to edge. Repeat until they are 3 or 4 fillings. Cover last layer with bread, buttered side down. Wrap loaf in aluminum foil and chill several hours. Frost with softened cream cheese. Garnish with chopped hard-cooked egg yolks. (I make a flower using celery as stem, bell pepper as leaves and sliced boiled egg as the flowers.) Spreads to follow:

SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL:

1 can chopped ham or Spam (I used ham)
2 c. cubed Cheddar cheese
1 sm. onion, quartered
1 med. green pepper, cut in pieces
1/2 c. oliver (stuffed ones are good)
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 c. ketchup
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
6 slices bacon, crisply fried & crumbled

I used the blender on the above.

DEVILED - HAM FILLING:

1 (2 1/4 oz.) can deviled ham
2 tbsp. finely chopped celery
1 tbsp. finely chopped green pepper
1 tsp. prepared horseradish
1/4 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. chopped pickle

EGG FILLING:

4 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
1/3 c. chopped stuffed green olives
2 tbsp. finely chopped green onion
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/4 c. mayonnaise

FROSTING:

4 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. milk

Beat cream cheese with milk until fluffy. Frost top and sides of loaf.
