SOUR CREAM APPLE PIE 
1 c. sour cream
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. mace or nutmeg
1 egg
2 c. diced apples or enough to fill pastry crust
1 unbaked pastry shell (8 or 9-inch)

Topping:

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/4 c. butter

Beat sour cream, sugar, flour, salt, vanilla, spice and egg until well blended. Add apples. Pour into unbaked pastry shell and bake at 400°F for 25 minutes.

Meanwhile, mix together brown sugar, flour and butter using fingers or a pastry blender until the mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle topping over the partly baked pie and bake about 30 minutes more.
