SOUR CREAM APPLE PIE 
1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. peeled finely chopped apples

TOPPING:

1/3 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 c. butter, cut into patties

Combine sugar, flour, and salt. Add sour cream, egg, and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Add chopped apples. Pour onto unbaked pie shell.

Combine sugar, flour, and spices for topping. Sprinkle over top of pie. Dot with butter patties. Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes.
