TOMATO SOUP CAKE 
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking power
1 can tomato soup
3/4 c. water
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Lg. can fruit cocktail
1 1/2. raisins (optional)
1/2 c. nut meats (optional)

Cream shortening and sugar. Sift dry ingredients together except baking soda. Add water. Mix the baking soda in the tomato soup and mix all together. Add fruit, raisins, and nut meats last. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
