SUGARED PECANS 
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. vanilla
3 c. pecans
1 1/2 c. sugar
8 drops food color

Cook water and sugar until it "sheets" from the spoon. Add vanilla and food coloring. Immediately add pecans and stir thoroughly to coat. Remove from heat, spread out on cookie sheet and place in freezer for 10 minutes to cool. Store in air tight bowl.
