2 c. sugar
1 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
6 c. pecans

Boil sugar in milk until it forms a soft ball when dropped into cold water. Add vanilla just before it reaches this stage. Stir in pecans and coat well. Spoon onto waxed paper and separate. Make and freeze. A holiday treat.
