MOIST COCONUT CAKE 
1 pkg. yellow or butter cake mix
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. coconut
8 oz. Cool Whip

Make cake according to box directions. Use a 9x13 inch pan and cool 15 minutes. Poke holes in cake. Meanwhile, in saucepan, combine milk, sugar, 1 1/2 cups coconut. Bring to a boil and simmer 1 minute. Spoon over warm cake, cool completely. Fold 1/2 cup coconut in Cool Whip and spread over cake. Top with an additional sprinkle of coconut. Chill overnight.
