SALAD DRESSING CAKE - MOIST CAKE

Sift together:

2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. salad dressing
1 c. water or cold coffee
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift first 4 ingredients in mixing bowl. Add last 3, mix and bake. I double this batter if I want a long pan cake. A very moist cake, one of my favorites. Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour.

My Grandmother use to make this when I was a little girl and it is really good and moist, she didn't use the coffee in it. It's good with the candy like chocolate icing, you put it on while the cake is still hot! I make it a lot!
