1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. Miracle Whip
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
3 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. cocoa

Mix sugar, water, Miracle Whip and vanilla. Add flour, soda and cocoa. Beat 2 to 3 minutes until smooth. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
