CHOCOLATE DROP COOKIES 
2/3 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/3 c. buttermilk or add 1 tsp. vinegar to fresh milk to equal 1/3 c.
1 1/2 c. flour

Cream butter and sugar. Blend in vanilla and egg. In separate bowl combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Alternate flour mixture and buttermilk to cream mixture. Drop by teaspoon 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 7-9 minutes. Remove and cool. May frost.
