TEA CAKES 
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 sticks butter
1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream powdered sugar and butter. Add egg. Mix flour, soda, cream of tartar, salt and vanilla. Roll out on floured surface and cut in desired shapes. Bake at 400 degrees about 6-8 minutes.
