YAM - PINEAPPLE BAKE 
4 1/2 - 5 c. mashed sweet potatoes or yams
1 c. (9 oz. can) pineapple tidbits
1/4 c. soft butter
1 tsp. salt
1/4 lb. (16) marshmallows, halved or use miniature marshmallows
1/4 c. pecan halves
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. rum flavoring
Halved maraschino cherries

Combine brown sugar, rum flavoring and cherries. Add (to taste) with remaining ingredients to mashed sweet potatoes. Bake at 350 degrees 30 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned on top.
