CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS 
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs (beaten)
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 chicken (cut up)
1 lg. onion
3 carrots
salt and pepper
1 tsp. sage
8 c. water

Boil cut up chicken in 8 cups water with onion and carrots and seasonings until tender. Meanwhile, mix flour, baking powder, salt, poultry seasoning, milk and eggs together. Pour out on floured board and roll out 1/2 inch thick. Cut into 1 inch squares. Drop into boiling broth. Cook 20 minutes.
