SCALLOPED POTATOES 
3 lbs. potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
12 oz. grated Cheddar cheese, reserve 1/2 c.
3 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1 pt. whipping cream

Butter a shallow baking dish (9x13 inch is good). Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Make several layers of potatoes, grated cheese and sprinkle with Parmesan.

Bring cream to a boil in a separate pan. Pour over potatoes. Bake one hour at 350 degrees, covered.

Sprinkle top with remaining Cheddar. Bake 15 minutes more, uncovered.

Serves 4 to 5.
