BARBARA'S PENUCHE' ICING 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar, packed down
1/4 c. milk
2 c. confectioners sugar

Melt butter in pan. Stir in brown sugar. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly to prevent sticking. Boil and stir over low heat for 2 minutes. Stir in milk. Heat to boiling again. Remove from heat. Cool to lukewarm.

Gradually stir in confectioners sugar. Cool to stirring consistency. Spread on spice cake or brownies; warm if necessary. Lick the pan.
