DIVINITY CANDY 
2 c. of sugar
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
Whites from 2 eggs

Mix sugar, syrup and water and let boil until it forms hard ball when dropped in cold water. Then pour the mixture slowly into well beaten egg whites beating gently. Add flavoring and nuts if desired. Beat until its glossy, drop in balls on waxed paper or pour into square and when cold cut in squares.

Snowy white or tinted a delicate color, this is one of the prettiest and most popular of all candies.
