COCKTAIL MEATBALLS 
MEATBALLS:

3 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
2 onions, minced
4 tsp. horseradish
4 garlic cloves, crushed
1 1/2 c. tomato juice
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. pepper

Combine all ingredients and shape into 1-inch balls. Place on sided cookie sheet and brown in oven for 10 minutes at 450 degrees. Drain well.

SAUCE:

1/4 c. butter
2 onions, chopped
1/4 c. flour
3 c. beef broth
1 c. red wine
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. catsup
2 tbsp. lemon juice
Salt
Pepper

Melt butter in skillet; saute onions until golden. Blend in flour. Add broth, stirring until smooth. Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. Add meatballs into sauce. Serve in chafing dish.
