TACO TOSSED SALAD 
1 lb. ground beef, chicken or turkey
1/2 c. taco sauce or salsa
1 sm. head lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
1 med. green pepper, cut into strips
1 med. tomato, cut into 8 wedges
1/2 c. pitted ripe olives, drained (optional)
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 c. taco flavored tortilla chips, crumbled
1/2 c. Thousand Island salad dressing or one bottle

You can add more vegetables if you want. Cook and stir meat over medium heat until light brown; drain. Stir in taco sauce and heat. Toss lettuce, green pepper, tomato wedges, olives, cheese and chips. Spoon hot meat mixture and salad dressing over lettuce mixture. Toss and serve immediately.

Makes 8 servings.
