PIEROGI CASSEROLE 
4 sticks butter
3 large onions, chopped
9-12 lasagna noodles or egg noodles
Mashed potatoes
1 lb. cheddar cheese, shredded

Sauté onions in butter. Cook noodles as directed and cool. Prepare potatoes and add some of the cheese to them. On bottom of a 9 x 13 pan, place a layer of onions and butter, then noodles, then mashed potatoes, then cheese. Repeat layers 3 or 4 times.

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
