PIEROGI CASSEROLE 
12 servings instant mashed potatoes (prepare as directed on box)
3/4 lb. cheddar cheese, grated
3 lg. onions
2 1/2 sticks butter
Salt & pepper
1 lg. pkg. lasagna noodles, cooked

Saute onions in butter. Mix 1/2 of onion mixture, potatoes and cheese. Put one layer of noodles in 9"x13" greased pan. Then layer potato mixture. Repeat until there are 3 potato layers and 4 noodle layers. Put remaining onions on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Let set 10 minutes before cutting.
