PIEROGI CASSEROLE 
10 to 12 potatoes, mashed
2 onions, chopped
3/4 lb. grated cheese
Salt
1 lb. lasagna noodles, cooked
2 1/2 sticks butter

Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions. Mash potatoes. Fry onions in butter. Add cheese to potatoes and beat with mixer. Add 1/3 of the onion mixture to potatoes and cheese, salt to taste. Generously butter 9 x 13 pan. Place a layer of noodles then a layer of potato mixture repeat ending with noodles. Pour rest of onion mixture over it all. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees until heated through.
