OLD FASHIONED BISCUIT 
2 c. flour (any kind)
4 tbsp. shortening
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder

Measure flour into large bowl; cut in shortening thoroughly until mixture looks like coarse meal. Stir in milk; mix well. If dough is not pliable, add little more flour. Round up dough on floured board; knead lightly; cut in size, round or oblong. Bake in 400 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
