SNOWBALLS 
1 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
2 c. ground pecans
2 c. sifted flour
Confectioner's sugar

Cream butter until softened. Add sugar, pecans, and flour; mix well. Shape into balls, using about 1 tablespoon of dough for each cookie. Bake in slow oven 300 degrees on ungreased baking sheet about 45 minutes. Roll in confectioner's sugar when first taken from oven; then again when cooled. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes. Makes 4 dozen cookies.
