DUTCH HONEY | |
1 c. evaporated milk 1/4 tsp. vanilla 1 c. dark corn syrup 1/8 tsp. salt 3/4 c. sugar Mix milk, syrup and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil. Boil for about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla and salt. Serve warm with biscuits, pancakes or waffles. Makes a very good syrup, tastes much like honey. |
