MEXICAN STYLE CHEESE BEANS 
1 sm. pkg. speckled pinto beans
1 tbsp. garlic salt
1/4 lb. grated Velveeta cheese
1 stick butter

Clean beans and soak overnight. Drain and recover with enough water to cover beans. Cook over medium heat. Let liquid simmer down to small amount. Add Velveeta, garlic salt, and butter. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Serve as side dish.
