HAWAIIAN CHOCOLATE CAKE 
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. vinegar
2/3 c. veg. oil
2 c. lukewarm water

FROSTING:

1 tbsp. butter
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 egg
1 c. powdered sugar
Dash salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9 x 13 pan. Sift flour, sugar, cocoa, salt and baking soda into baking pan. Stir well. Make 3 wells in mixture. Place vinegar in 1 hole, vanilla in 1 hole, and oil in 3rd hole. Pour half of water over top. Mix well. Add remaining water and mix until smooth. Bake 30 to 40 minutes.

To make frosting, melt butter and chocolate in double boiler. Add egg, powdered sugar, salt and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Spread over cooled cake.
