BEEF STROGANOFF 
3 tbsp. cooking oil
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 lbs. boneless chuck steak, cut in 1/4 inch strips
4 oz. can mushrooms
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 c. water
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 c. sour cream

Heat oil, add onions, cook over low heat until tender. Add meat and brown lightly. Stir in remaining ingredients except sour cream. Cover and simmer 45 minutes or until meat is tender. Stir some sauce from skillet into sour cream. Remove skillet from heat and stir in sour cream. Serve over hot noodles.
