SPAGHETTI BAKE | |
1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 c. chopped onion 1 clove minced garlic 28 oz. can tomatoes, cut up 15 oz. can tomato sauce 1 (4 oz.) can drained mushrooms 2 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. oregano 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. basil 8 oz. pkg. spaghetti broken, cooked and drained 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese 1-2 c. Mozzarella cheese (shredded) Cook beef, onion and garlic; drain fat. Stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, mushrooms, sugar, oregano, salt and basil. Bring meat mixture to a boil; cook gently, uncovered for 20-25 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in spaghetti. Place 1/2 of spaghetti mixture in a 9x13 pan. Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese. Top cheese with remaining spaghetti mixture and more Mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. |
