EAST BAKE SPAGHETTI
2 slices bacon, chopped
2 med. onions, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. chili powder
2 (8 oz.) Hunt's tomato sauce
2 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. ripe olives, sliced
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 lb. spaghetti, uncooked
Pepper to taste

Fry bacon, add onions and garlic and cook until soft. Add meat and brown lightly. Stir in seasoning, tomato sauce and water. Simmer for 25 minutes. Stir in ripe olives. Break 1/2 spaghetti into 2 quart greased casserole dish, cover with half of sauce then half of cheese, repeat layers.

Cover, bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer, until browned and bubbly. Sauce will seem runny but it is necessary for juice to cook the uncooked spaghetti. More meat can be used then what recipe calls for.
