CANNED PEACHES IN LIGHT SYRUP 
Blanch peaches in boiling water for 1 minute. Put into cold water. Peel and cut into halves removing pit. Put seed side down into hot jars. Put boiling syrup over peaches. Seal jars. Hot water bath 25 minutes.

SYRUP:

For 1 crate of peaches: 16 c. water

Boil 5 minutes. Approximately 12 quarts yield per crate.
