CHRISTOPHER'S SOUR CREAM POUND
CAKE
 
1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
3 c. plain flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour cream

Heat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour 12-cup Bundt pan or tube pan. In large mixer bowl cream butter, add sugar; beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well. Sift together flour, salt and soda. Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream. Add flavorings.

Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a wooden toothpick comes out clean when inserted. Yield: 16 servings.
