APPLE FRENCH TOAST 
1 (20 oz.) pkg. plain frozen French toast, thawed
3/4 c. milk
5 eggs
2 medium baking apples
1-1/2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. maple flavored syrup
2 tsp. cinnamon
Optional: 1/2 c. walnuts, raisins or cranberries

Spray a rectangular casserole dish with cooking spray. Cut French toast into 1 inch cubes and place in dish. Microwave milk on high 1-1/2 to 2 minutes. Whisk eggs and add milk slowly as you whisk. Pour into dish with toast and mix gently, set aside.

Peel, core and cut apples into quarters. Melt butter in large skillet, add apples, walnuts and cinnamon. Cook on medium heat for 3 to 3-1/2 minutes. Pour over French toast and mix.

Bake 30-32 minutes at 375°F until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with maple syrup.

Serves 5.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
