LASAGNA CASSEROLE | |
1 pkg. egg noodles, cooked and drained (bows or shells) 1 lb. ground beef or turkey 1-2 jars spaghetti sauce, your favorite 1 can black olives, sliced 1 can mushrooms, optional 1 pt. cottage cheese 8 oz. shredded Mozzarella Parmesan cheese While noodles are cooking, brown ground meat. Drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce. Add black olives and mushrooms. Simmer. In large mixing bowl, mix cottage cheese and Mozzarella. Add spaghetti sauce mixture and hot, cooked noodles. Stir to mix. Turn into large casserole pan. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Cover with aluminum. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes until bubbly. Steve's favorite! I often double it and freeze half for a busy day. Serve with warm French bread. |
