HOT FRUIT SALAD | |
1 lb. can pears halves, drained 1 lb. can peach halves, drained 1 lb. can pineapple chunks, drained 1 lb. can mandarin oranges, drained 1 (8 oz.) maraschino cherries, drained Place all in a shallow pan or baking dish. In a saucepan melt 1/2 cup butter and add 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon curry powder, 1/2 cup dry white wine, cook until sugar is dissolved. Pour over fruit and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Take fruit out and place in warm serving dish, take the sauce and put into saucepan. Add 1 tablespoon cornstarch and cook until clear pour over the fruit in serving dish. Can be served hot or cold. |
