PITA BLACK BEAN TOSTADOS 
1 (16 oz.) can black beans, drained (reserve 3 tbsp. liquid)
1 tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. each of garlic powder & ground cumin
2 (5") whole wheat pitas, split in half
1/2 c. 2% fat cottage cheese
1/4 c. chunky salsa
1/4 c. sliced green onions

Lightly mash black beans, reserved liquid, chili powder, garlic powder and cumin in medium size bowl. Spread on cut sides of pitas. Top with cottage cheese, salsa and green onion. Makes 4 servings.
