MARINATED APPETIZERS 
1 can jumbo pitted black olives
1 jar lg. stuffed green olives
1 jar largest mushrooms
2 jars artichoke hearts, halved

Drain all of these well.

3/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. salad vinegar (must be salad vinegar)
1/3 c. salad oil (any kind but olive)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. coarse ground black pepper

Bring to a boil; stir until sugar dissolves. Cool before pouring over other ingredients. Pour over other ingredients. Marinate overnight. Serve.

Tried and true concept, marinating these veggies, but does this really work for you? I find marinating them in the heat and serving warm works best (I've never marinated mushrooms overnight!) And where is the Italian white wine? Guess I'll have to try it before I deny it. I'll let you know. I'd love to share a great recipe with you but...eh, can't do it! Great great grama would come out of her grave.
