HOT CLAM DIP 
1 stick butter
1 lg. chopped onion
1 lg. can mushroom pieces
1 can minced clams
2 lg. pkg. cream cheese
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. pepper

Saute onion in butter until tender. Add all other ingredients and stir until cream cheese is soft. Serve warm with crackers or large corn chips. This is good if kept warm in a fondue pot or on a warming tray, but it doesn't have to be hot.
