BAKED FRENCH TOAST 
3 eggs
3 tbsp. butter
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
Bread slices

Beat 3 eggs with 3 tbsp. melted butter. Add them to 1 cup milk and 1/2 tsp. salt. Pour this mixture in a flat, shallow dish.

Dip each slice of bread into the milk-egg mix, turning each slice and let it stay long enough to take up some of the liquid. Butter a cookie sheet. Place the drained slice son the sheet.

Bake at 450 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Turn each slice. Bake for 5 minutes longer. Serve hot with butter and a choice of honey, maple syrup, jelly, cinnamon, sugar or jam and some cottage cheese.
