BAKED FRENCH TOAST 
3 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter, melted
3/4/ c. milk
6 slices of day-old bread

Beat eggs slightly. Add milk and salt. Pour into flat, shallow dish. Dip bread in mixture, allowing both sides to soak up the liquid. Place on well-buttered cookie sheet. Pour melted butter over top of slices. Bake at 425 degrees for 8 minutes. Turn slices over and bake 5 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot with butter and syrup.
