APRICOT BARS 
1 c. flour
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. quick cooking oats
1/4 c. finely chopped nuts
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 c. apricot jam

In mixing bowl, blend together first 5 ingredients until mixture is crumbly. Press 2/3 of mixture into a lightly oiled 8 inch square pan. Spread apricot jam over this layer. Spoon remaining crumbly mixture over jam. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool completely. Cut into bars.
